Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: The cold conditions across Odisha are expected to ease over the next three days, with night temperatures likely to rise by 2–3°C, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In Bhubaneswar, dense fog is likely during the early morning hours over the next 24 hours, accompanied by dew formation. The city is expected to record a maximum temperature of around 32°C and a minimum of about 15°C.

The IMD has also forecast morning fog at one or two places on Wednesday in the districts of Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapada, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Gajapati, Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur. On Thursday, similar foggy conditions are likely in Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Puri, Gajapati, Kalahandi, and Sundargarh districts.

Meanwhile, Daringbadi and Phulbani recorded the lowest night temperature at 10°C. Nuapada registered 11°C, Rayagada 12°C, Jharsuguda 12.1°C, Rourkela 12.4°C, Angul 12.6°C, and Bhawanipatna 12.9°C.

During the day, Jharsuguda recorded the highest maximum temperature at 32°C. Bhubaneswar recorded 31.7°C, Angul 31.1°C, while Nuapada, Khordha, and Jagatsinghpur recorded 31°C.
