Balasore, Jan 1: In a tragic incident, as many as six people sustained critical injuries after two SUVs collided head-on in Kamarda area of Odisha's Balasore district today.
As per reports, the mishap took place on State Highway-57 in Kamarda area of the district when an SUV, with tourists from Mayurbhanj was heading towards Digha in West Bengal, collided head-on with another SUV coming from the opposite direction.
Upon getting the information, Kamarda Police arrived at the spot and rescued the injured ones. They were rushed to the Jaleswar Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.
Further investigation into the matter is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
