Bhubaneswar, June 13: Odisha’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll is nearing completion, with enumeration forms distributed to 3.29 crore voters, covering 98.65 per cent of the electorate, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said on Saturday.
As the distribution process reaches its final stage, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are focusing on collecting and digitising the forms. So far, over 95.41 lakh forms have been digitised, accounting for 28.57 per cent of voters.
The Election Commission has set June 28, 2026, as the deadline for completing the distribution, collection and digitisation of all forms. Voters who have not yet submitted their forms have been urged to do so through BLOs or online via the Election Commission’s website.
The CEO’s office has intensified awareness campaigns through print, electronic and social media platforms, appealing to voters to participate in the exercise to help maintain an updated and error-free electoral roll.
