Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor to make on-screen debut together in ‘Param Sundari’

Mumbai, July 14: Bollywood actors Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are set to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy Param Sundari. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film promises a fresh pairing, with Sidharth playing the titular role of "Param" and Janhvi portraying "Sundari".
Originally scheduled for release on July 25, Param Sundari was expected to clash at the box office with Son of Sardar 2. To avoid the face-off, the makers considered rescheduling the film’s release. A revised release window has now been confirmed, with the film set to hit theatres in August, although the exact date is yet to be officially announced.
The first look of Param Sundari was unveiled on May 29, generating buzz among fans. More recently, a teaser for the film was showcased alongside the release of Rajkummar Rao’s Malik on June 11. Interestingly, the teaser was a slightly modified version of the one released earlier in May.
With several high-profile releases lined up for August—including Dhadak 2 on August 1, War 2 featuring Ritvik, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani, and Rajinikanth’s Coolie on August 14—Param Sundari is now expected to arrive in cinemas on August 29. However, the date is yet to be officially confirmed by the producers.
The film's unique pairing and lighthearted tone have already sparked anticipation among audiences, making Param Sundari one of the most awaited romantic comedies of the season.
