Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s 14 para-athletes, a coach and two support staff will represent India at the prestigious 2025 World AbilitySport Games being held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, from 17 to 24 November 2025.

The Odisha team comprises 7 players each for two disciplines athletics and para- fencing.

Their participation in this global multi-sport event highlights Odisha’s growing strength and commitment in the field of Para Sports. The athletes have undergone rigorous training and preparation, and the entire state is hopeful of a remarkable performance on the international stage.

The Para Sports Association of Odisha extends its heartfelt best wishes to all the athletes and officials. Their dedication, hard work, and determination continue to inspire and bring pride to Odisha.

In the last edition World AbilitySport Games 2023, Odisha proudly won a total 9 medals, including 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Para fencing Team: Rakhal kumar Sehty, V Ramesh Rao, Pabitra Sahu, Kumari Malati Panaure, Madhusmita Sahoo, Rudranarayan Behera, Omm Prakash Behera.
