Patna, November 15: Jan Suraaj Party President Uday Singh confirmed that the party's founder, Prashant Kishor, remains dedicated to Bihar’s development and will continue his political efforts in the state. Singh stated, "Prashant Kishor will stay engaged in Bihar’s political scene. Our politics is independent of JD(U)'s influence, and we will step away only when we see real change in Bihar."

Singh also criticized the Bihar government's "cash distribution" scheme, claiming it played a major role in the NDA's massive electoral victory. He warned that this approach would strain Bihar’s economy and questioned how the state would recover from its growing debt.

Despite the party’s poor performance in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections, where it failed to win any seats, Singh remained resolute. "We are not discouraged. Our mission for 'Bihar Badlav' continues," he said.

Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party, launched on October 2, 2024, faced a tough debut, contesting nearly all 243 constituencies without success. Meanwhile, the NDA secured a historic victory with 202 seats, and the BJP emerged as the largest party with 89 seats. The Mahagathbandhan saw significant losses, with RJD securing only 25 seats.
