Sex racket busted in Bhubaneswar: 2 brokers booked
Bhubaneswar, Dec 1: The Commissionerate Police on Friday busted a sex racket in Bhubaneswar City which was being operated in the Kharavela Nagar area.
As many as four girls, indulged in the illegal activities in a residential building along with two brokers, were detained in this connection.
Sources said the Kharavela Nagar police, with a tip off from the local civil societies, conducted a raid on a residential building (Plot No 18). Meanwhile, a sex racket was busted by the sleuths in closed room, from where a number of customers escaped from the spot. Four sex workers- two West Bengal- based, one from Jharkhand and another from Odisha were rescued during the raid.
The brokers were arrested after registration of a case and the girls were released after primary investigation, said police.
