Bhubaneswar, Feb 19: Miscreants looted from five flats of an apartment in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night.
The loot took place in the Versa Rivera apartment at Balakati Garhshreerampur under Balianata police limits on the city outskirts.
The miscreants have looted gold ornaments of around Rs 50 lakh and cash over Rs 30 lakh from five flats in the apartment.
Balianta police has launched an investigation into the loot on the basis of CCTV cameras.
The preliminary investigations revealed that the looters entered into the apartment premises by breaking open the backside gate and decamped in that way after the theft.
Police are trying to find out link of security personnel of the apartment in the loot.
