​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, Dec 21: While the Odisha Police has kept the door open for Maoists to lay down their arms, the surrender policy has also been eased.

The Boudh Police meanwhile has recently announced a reward of Rs 8 crore 40 lakhs for information on 18 most-wanted Maoists, those wreak havoc in the Boudh-Kandhamal forest, taking to violence.

As part of the campaign, Boudh police have put up posters across various remote and interior regions of the district. The posters carry the particulars of the Maoists and the amount declared on their heads.

On the other hand, the concerned Maoists have been asked to surrender with availing the government assistance, to come to the mainstream.
