Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: Ace lyricist, music composer & director Abhijit Majumdar is no more.
He passed away on Sunday in the AIIMS Hospital Bhubaneswar during treatment.
Majumdar was receiving prolonged medical care at the premier institute for months. He was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS Bhubaneswar on September 4, 2025 in a critical condition and was placed on ventilator support due to the severity of his illness.
According to medical sources, the music composer was suffering from multiple health complications, including high blood pressure and chronic liver disease. Despite sustained treatment and close medical supervision, his condition remained yet alarming and he passed away this morning.
