Puri, Nov 27: The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has announced special package tour services for visitors attending the upcoming Konark Festival and the International Sand Art Festival, scheduled to begin on December 1.

The 36th Konark Festival will take place at the open-air auditorium near the Sun Temple, showcasing classical dance performances including Odissi, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Kathak by acclaimed national and international artists. Performances will be held daily from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm in two sessions.

Simultaneously, the 15th International Sand Art Festival will be held at Chandrabhaga Beach, featuring participation from hundreds of sand artists from India and abroad.

In view of the festivities, the Light and Sound Show at the Sun Temple will remain suspended for five days.

To facilitate tourist movement, OTDC will operate daily AC buses from Bhubaneswar and Puri, departing at 2:30 pm and returning at 11:00 pm.

Package rates have been fixed as follows:

• ₹1,840 per person for tourists traveling from Bhubaneswar, covering the Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach, Sand Art Festival and Konark Festival.
• ₹1,700 per person for tourists from Puri, covering the Sun Temple, Sand Art Festival and Konark Festival.
• ₹2,360 per person for tourists from Cuttack.
