BalBalasore, Dec 13: Tension erupted at Haji Nasiruddin U.M.E. School in Golapokhari after a 7th-grade student alleged repeated abuse by her mathematics teacher. According to the complaint, the teacher had been harassing the student for several days and allegedly attempted to force her to remove her dress.

Distressed, the student informed her family, who rushed to the school and physically assaulted the teacher. The teacher reportedly fled the scene during the confrontation.

Police reached the school and have launched an investigation. The victim’s family has filed a written complaint at the Town Police Station. Locals stated that there had been prior complaints against the teacher, who allegedly had a history of misconduct with students. Authorities are reviewing the case and action has been demanded against the teacher.
