Bhubaneswar, Feb 6: Tamanna Bhoi, a student of Political Science at BJB Autonomous College, has been honored with the prestigious Khandapada Trophy. The award was presented during a special ceremony held on the college campus by the Principal of the college, Professor Jhumki Rath.

Tamanna received the trophy in recognition of her achievement as the Best All-Round Student, an honor awarded annually to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic performance, leadership qualities, and overall excellence.

The Khandapada Trophy is instituted by the family of former Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly and former Minister, Raja Bibhuti Bhushan Singh Mardaraj, and Rani Devaki Devi.This year, in their absence, their son—former MLA and the erstwhile King of Khandapada, Siddhartha Sekhar Singh Mardaraj—was present at the ceremony and encouraged Tamanna for her achievements.

On this occasion, the BJB College Alumni Association, BJB Friends, also felicitated Tamanna with a special trophy. The event was attended by the Secretary of BJB Friends, Satyabrata Dhupal, among others.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Jhumki Rath stated that such ceremonies play a significant role in motivating students to strive for excellence.

Tamanna Bhoi expressed her happiness and gratitude upon receiving the honor.Several faculty members of BJB College and members of BJB Friends were present at the event, making the ceremony a memorable one.
