​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, December 24: Senior IAS Officer Anu Garg has been appointed as Odisha Chief Secretary on Wednesday.

Odisha government approved Garg’s appointment as the new Chief Secretary after the tenure of incumbent Chief Secretary Manoj Ahujha ends.

The General Administration & Public Grievance(GA &PG) Department, government of Odisha issued notification in this connection today.

Anu Garg, a 1999 Odisha Cadere IAS Officer was working as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), and Development Commissioner.

Apart from it, Garh had efficiently served the Odisha government as Principal Secretary for Planning & Convergence and Water Resources,among other key departments.
