Bhubaneswar: Sarthak Arya of Cuttack and Sweta Verma of Khurdha double crowned in the 30th YGTTA State Table Tennis Championship, which concluded at Biju Patnaik Multi-Purpose Indoor Hall at Cuttack on Sunday, Sarthak won the U-19 boys and men’s singles title by defeating Jigyanshu Sahoo of Cuttack and Suvendu Shaw by 3-0 and 4-1 respectively. Sweta Verma of Khurdha won the U-13 and U-15 girls singles titles by winning over Aradhya Sahoo of Cuttack in both the finals by 3-0 and 3-0.

Secretary, Odisha Olympic Association gave away the prizes as the chief guest of the closing ceremony in presence of Office bearers of Odisha State Table Tennis Association Rabindra Kumar Parida, Abdul Wahid, Nihar Ranjan Mishra etc. Umpires Jeevan Ballav Samal, Tapan Kha, Bijan Das Mohaptra, Sujit Ray, Sandeep Chakraborty, KSN Murty and KVP Rama Rao.

Kumar (BBSR TTA) became Runner Up after round robin league.
Under-11 Boys’ Singles: Rudra Ranbeer (Cuttack) beat Swastik Singh (Khurdha TTA) by 3-2 Games (3-11, 9-11, 13-11, 11-4, 11-4).
Under-13 Girls’ Singles: Sweta Verma (Khurdha TTA) beat Aradhya Sahoo (Cuttack) by 3-0 Games (11-6, 11-8, 11-9).
