Sambalpur, July 13: The Sambalpur Court received yet another bomb threat on Monday after an anonymous email warned of an explosion at the court complex, triggering panic and prompting heightened security measures.

Following the threat, police and security personnel launched a comprehensive search operation across the court premises to ensure the safety of judges, lawyers, court staff and visitors. Security has been significantly strengthened while the premises are being thoroughly sanitised.

This marks the fourth bomb threat received by the Sambalpur Court in the last four months, raising serious concerns over the repeated security scares and their impact on the functioning of the judicial system.

A cyber crime team has been pressed into service to trace the origin of the threatening email and identify the sender. Police have registered the matter and initiated a detailed investigation.

Court proceedings are being closely monitored, while authorities have put all necessary precautionary measures in place to ensure public safety.
