Sambalpur, Nov 21: The Samaleswari temple in Sambalpur district will remain out of bounds for the public today for a duration of four and a half hours.
On November 20, 2023. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu graced the inaugural session of the 36th Annual Conference and Literary Festival of All India Santali Writers’ Association at Baripada, Odisha.
This decision was made by the temple trust board following a meeting held yesterday. The board is actively engaged in preparations to ensure a seamless and auspicious darshan experience for President Droupadi Murmu during her scheduled visit to the shrine.
As per President Murmu’s planned itinerary, she will visit Burla at 1:20 pm to attend the convocation ceremony of Veer Surendra Sai Technical University (VSSUT). Following the ceremony, she is slated to visit the Samaleswari temple and offer prayers at 5:25 PM. Subsequently, she will return to Burla at 5:55 PM and stay overnight at the MCL guest house.
The temple priests are eagerly anticipating the President's visit, adding to the significance of the occasion.
On November 22, President Murmu is also expected to participate in the National Education Mission at 9 am, hosted on the premises of 'Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya' at Majhipali on the Sambalpur-Jharsuguda road.
