Mumbai, June 10: Salman Khan, last seen in the espionage thriller 'Tiger 3', is gearing up to kick off filming for his next venture, 'Sikandar', on June 18.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, renowned for helming the Aamir Khan-led blockbuster 'Ghajini', the production will commence with a breathtaking aerial action sequence set in Mumbai. The scene will showcase Salman, soaring 33,000 feet above sea level aboard an aircraft.
The filmmakers took to social media on Monday to announce this exciting development regarding the movie's production.
Joining Salman in the lead role is Rashmika Mandanna, marking another collaboration between Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala. The duo previously struck gold with the hit film 'Kick', directed by Nadiadwala.
Music maestro Pritam has been reportedly enlisted for the film, touted to be Nadiadwala's most ambitious project yet.
'Sikandar' is scheduled to hit theaters on Eid 2025.
