New Delhi, November 11: Following a deadly blast in Delhi that killed eight and injured several others, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level security review on Tuesday to assess the situation. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Home Affairs, was the second round of discussions after the attack, which occurred around 7 pm near the Red Fort Metro Station.

The first round of talks, held earlier at Shah's residence, included top officials such as Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, NIA Director General Sadanand Vasant Date, and Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha. The blast, which occurred in a Hyundai i20, triggered a multi-agency investigation involving the NIA, NSG, FSL, and Delhi Police.

The Ministry of Home Affairs decided to transfer the case to the NIA, treating the explosion as a potential terror act. The NIA is now leading the investigation, including examining the materials used in the blast. Forensic evidence from the site has already been collected, and an FIR is expected soon. The investigation also includes the recent seizure of explosives in Faridabad.
