Bhubaneswar, Sept 17: Brijendra Pratap Singh is likely to be the next Chairman-cum-Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Nava Ratna company of Government of India.
It was revealed after, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) recommended Singh’s name for the coveted post.
Singh is now serving as Director in-charge (Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants), Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).
According to official sources, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Singh, after interviewing him from among six meritorious and experience applicants.
Earlier, the PESB in May 2024 had invited applications for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) in NAALCO.
Worth mentioning, the post is to fall vacant after October 31, as the incumbent CMD Sridhar Patra is going to retire on the day.
