Bhubaneswar, Feb 17: The Matric (Class 10) examination is set to commence tomorrow, with the Board announcing that all necessary arrangements have been finalized.

According to Board President Srikant Tarai, candidates will be allowed to enter examination centres until 9:30 AM in case of emergency situations. Previously, entry was permitted only until 9:15 AM, but an additional 15 minutes has now been granted.

A total of 3,082 examination centres have been equipped with CCTV surveillance to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exams. The Board has warned that strict action will be taken against those found engaging in malpractice.

Special provisions have also been made for differently-abled candidates. They will be given an additional 50 minutes to complete their examination. Centres will arrange scribes for such candidates, though students may bring their own scribe if preferred. In such cases, the scribe must be a student from a class lower than Class 10.
