Jharsuguda, May 3: Odisha Vigilance on Friday arrested the Assistant Executive Engineer of (AEE) of RWS&S, Jharsuguda for demanding and accepting bribe.
The accused identified as Rabindra Patra was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for accepting a bribe amount of Rs 50,000 from a complainant for facilitating release of his pending bills related to works executed by him.
The entire bribe money has been recovered and seized.
Following the successful trap, simultaneous searches are going on at four locations of Patra from DA angle.
