RSS chief arrives in Bhubaneswar on a 5-day Odisha visit

Bhubaneswar, August 8: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has arrived here on a five-day Odisha visit on Thursday. During this time he will attend several programmes in-house meetings.
He landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport around 1:20 PM and is currently staying at the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti office in Mancheswar.
He is slated to visit the pilgrim town of Puri on August 9. Besides offering prayers at Shree Jagannath Temple, he will also visit Gobardhan Peeth and meet Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati
The RSS chief on August 10 and 11, will attend a meeting of top national functionaries of the organization in Puri.
After attending programmes, he is scheduled to leave Odisha on August 12, senior RSS functionary Sumant Kumar Panda said.
Panda also said that there will be no public programme during the RSS chief’s visit to the state.
