Bhubaneswar, July 27: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Saturday said that a budget of Rs 10,000 crore has been allocated for Subhadra Yojana.
A list of 1.5 crore women has been compiled and a standard operating procedure will be established to determine the distribution of funds, she added.
"A provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made in the Subhadra scheme. A list of one crore 50 lakh women has been prepared. An SOP will be made to decide who will get how much. Feedback will be taken from various sections of the society and the SOP will be finalized," Pravati Parida told news agency ANI.
The Subhadra Yojana will be launched by the state government in Odisha in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, coinciding with his birthday.
The Odisha government has decided to pay Rs 50,000 to women, who comprise 50 per cent population of the state, she added.
