Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: Union Education, Skills and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated the retail traders’ training programme in Bhubaneswar.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan highlighted the Government of India's commitment to enhancing the skill development and entrepreneurship of small traders and entrepreneurs. He emphasized the significance of the programme, designed to equip small business owners with advanced skills and linguistic diversity. This initiative aims to empower micro-entrepreneurs to thrive in the competitive world of business.

Pradhan said the programme is meant to make retail traders and small businessmen more efficient. The training will also help them learn how to make good profits from their businesses. 

The programme, jointly organised by Coca Cola India and National Skill Mission, will focus on how retail traders can enhance their skills. The training programme has been held in the auditorium of SOA University.

Under this program, 1.4 crore retailers will receive digital training in Odia and various Indian languages through the Skill India digital portal.
