New Delhi, Jan 25:More than 14,000 police personnel have been deployed in and around the New Delhi district of the national capital, especially around the Kartavya Path in view of Republic Day celebrations, an official said on Wednesday.

"Not just the area where the parade will be conducted, but, in entire Delhi, the Delhi Police has maintained stringent security apparatus while the whole Delhi-NCR area has been under our focus," Special CP (Security) Dependra Pathak said.
