Puri, July 14: The Ratna Bhandar of Shri Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri is scheduled to be opened at 1.28 PM today.
Ratna Bhandar Inventory Committee Chairperson Justice Biswanath Rath informed it today after wrapping off a panel meeting here in Puri in the morning.
Answering to the media queries, Justice Rath said that, the long-cherised desire of people on opening of the Ratna Bhandar,is going to end soon in this afternoon.The specific time table for unlocking the Lord’s treasury has been unanimously finalized at 1.28. The timeline has been fixed in consonance with the servitiorsa and pundits after performing some customary rituals.
Following the significant meeting Chief Administrator of the Shri Jagannth Temple Administration (SJTA), Dr. Arabinda Padhee said, auspicious time has been fixed to initiate the process of opening up the Ratna Bhandar.
The SJTA has made elaborate arrangements to work out on the task meticulously so that opening of the Ratna Bhandar and safe inventory of its precious belongings can be carried out within the estimated timeframe, Dr. Padhee added.
