Bhubaneswar, Feb 17: The fourth installment of the Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. Eligible women will receive ₹5,000 each, with more than 1 crore beneficiaries expected to receive a total of ₹5,000 crore. The announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida.

Under the Subhadra Yojana, beneficiaries receive assistance in two phases of ₹5,000 each per year, totaling ₹10,000 annually. Previously, beneficiaries had received ₹15,000 in three installments.

On January 22, the scheme also disbursed funds to newly registered beneficiaries and those who had missed earlier installments. So far, 4,57,681 women have received Subhadra funds, with 1,78,398 newly registered women included in the latest disbursement. For the third installment, 2,55,265 women who were left out of the first two installments due to technical issues were also included.
