Newly disclosed records highlight ancient Indian healing and political ties.

The US Justice Department has officially released thousands of confidential records involving the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This massive disclosure follows a bill signed by President Donald Trump last month, which mandated the public release of these documents within a 30-day window.

Unexpected Links to Indian Ayurveda

One of the most surprising elements found within the Jeffrey Epstein files is the frequent mention of ancient Indian wellness practices. Documents released by the US Justice Department highlight specific "massage techniques" and the 5,000-year-old Indian system of Ayurveda.

Specifically, the files contain references to Ayurveda detoxification processes. One exhibit describes how Western practitioners are increasingly adopting this natural healing system. The records even include instructional articles like "The Art of Giving Massage," which detail the use of sesame oil as a primary tool for body purification and detox.

High-Profile Figures and Photos

The release comes at a time of intense political scrutiny. While the documents include a few photos of Donald Trump, who was known to be an acquaintance of Epstein years ago, they also feature images of former President Bill Clinton. Additionally, a photograph of Epstein with the late pop icon Michael Jackson was among the revealed materials.

It is important to note that neither Trump nor Clinton has been charged with any wrongdoing related to Epstein’s activities. However, the files have remained a flashpoint for political debate, with Democrats previously pushing hard for full transparency regarding Epstein's elite social circle.

Incomplete Records and Context

While the disclosure is extensive, the Justice Department admitted that the release is still incomplete. Many of the records remain heavily redacted. Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while in a Manhattan jail, leaving behind a trail of legal questions regarding the trafficking and abuse of underage girls. These new documents provide a deeper look into his lifestyle and the various influences—including Eastern wellness—that surrounded his private world.
