Mumbai, Jan 16: Bollywood actor and BJP MP Hema Malini is set to present a dance drama in Ayodhya based on the Hindu epic Ramayana ahead of the temple consecration scheduled for January 22. The 75-year-old expressed her excitement, stating, "I am visiting Ayodhya for the first time during the ‘pranpratishtha’ of Ram Temple, a long-awaited event. On January 17, I will be showcasing a dance drama depicting the Ramayana in Ayodhya Dham.” The consecration ceremony, expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has extended invitations to various guests from India, VVIPs, and international guests.
Rituals for the 'pranpratishtha' ceremony of 'Ram Lalla' will commence on January 16, with Varanasi-based priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit leading the main rituals on January 22. The city will observe Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to 22.
A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya has been organized to provide meals for the multitude of devotees attending the event. Ayodhya is establishing tent cities to accommodate the influx of devotees, with enhanced security measures and arrangements in place to ensure the smooth execution of the ceremony.
