Rairakhol, Nov 11: At least three persons were killed while another person sustained multiple injuries after being hit by a speeding truck at Bargapalli area in Angul district.
The identities of the deceased have yet to be ascertained.

Sources said, all four of them were traveling in a bus which was heading from Sundergarh to Bhubaneswar. The bus had developed a flat tyre near Bargapalli locality. The passengers got down from the vehicle and while they were standing, a speeding truck hit four of the passengers, killing three on the spot and one person sustained serious injuries.
The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital.
Being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
