Jharsuguda, Feb 8: On the third day of his ‘Bharta Jodo Nyay Jatra’ Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi started a padyatra from Jharsuguda Old Bus Stand Street at 8.00 AM today.
According to the report, Rahul is scheduled to address the public at Kisan Street in Behramal. He will also visit Lkhan Khnapur block in Gobindpur.
Throngs of supporters, comprising women and children, lined the roadside for hours, eager to catch a glimpse of the leader during the padayatra. Riding in an open Jeep, Rahul extended warm greetings to all, reaching out to shake hands with those who eagerly approached the vehicle, disregarding the security cordon.
Rahul will leave for Chhatisgarh in the evening.
Worth mentioning, Rahul Gandhi started the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Manipur on January 14 and the yatra will conclude in Mumbai on March 20.
