Bhubaneswar, Feb, 5: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led 'Bharat Joda Nyay Yatra' will reach Birmitrapur of Sundargarh district, Odisha tomorrow at 2.30pm, said Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Sarat Pattanayak today.
In a press meet held at Rourkela, Pattanayak informed about the details of Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Joda Nyay Yatra' in Odisha. He also said that state Congress leaders and workers are very exicted about Rahul Gandhi's visit.
According to the scheduled program, Rahul Gandhi will enter Odisha from the Jharkhand border at Birmitrapur tomorrow at 2.30pm. Odisha Congress leaders will welcome Rahul Gandhi and his team there. The flag of 'Bharat Joda Nyay Yatra' will be handed over to the Odisha Congress. From there, the yatra will continue about 11 KM and reach Bijabahal where Rahul will take rest at night.
On 7th February morning at 9.30 am , Rahul Gandhi will start Yatra from Rourkela SP office and address the public gathering at Panaposh square at about 10.30 am. In the afternoon, he will also address a meeting at Kutra and Baragaon. In the evening, Bharat Joda Nyaya Yatra will be held in Sundargarh town. Rahul will take night halt at Amipally of Jharsuguda.
On 8th February, Bharat Joda Nyaya Yatra will start from Jharsuguda at about 8 AM and it will culminate at Kanaktora near Chhattisgarh border at 3.45 pm where the flag of the Yatra would be handed to Chhattisgarh Congress .
The Congress has announced the Bharat Nyay Yatra from Manipur to Mumbai passing through 14 states and 85 districts from the east to the west of India in 67 days, beginning January 14 -- an exercise seen as the party's attempt to rally support ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
