Cuttack/New Delhi, Mar 16: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi personally spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone regarding the tragic fire at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. During the discussion, the CM updated the Prime Minister on the emergency measures taken, patient relocation processes, and the provision of specialised medical care to the affected individuals.

He also briefed the Prime Minister on the high-level departmental inquiry ordered by the state government into the incident.

This morning, the Chief Minister visited SCB Hospital to assess the situation firsthand and instructed the administration to provide all possible government assistance to the victims. He noted that all concerned departments and teams are working in full coordination.

The CM expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his empathetic concern and the assurance of necessary support during this sensitive time.
