Puri, July 18: Puri Police has issued a traffic advisory for devotees travelling to Puri following a massive influx of vehicles from Bhubaneswar, leading to heavy congestion on the route.

According to the advisory, there is very heavy traffic movement from Bhubaneswar to Puri, resulting in significant delays for commuters.

Police said the estimated waiting time at Maltipatpur is around 1.5 hours due to the traffic congestion.

Devotees have been requested to wait for further traffic updates and easing of congestion before starting their journey from Bhubaneswar to Puri. The advisory aims to reduce traffic pressure and ensure a safer and smoother travel experience for all pilgrims.
