Puri: Devotees throng for darshan of Trinity’s flower treat

Puri, Jan 8: At a time when Puri Shree Jagannath temple has been closed for the devotees, Darshan of the Trinity is a dream for the common visitors. However, the flowery ornaments used for bedecking the Trinity are now catering to the visitors which are easily seen before the Jagannath Temple. Especially, the flower glutted ornaments like the Nakachana and Jhumpa, which are used frequently with every besha (apparel) at each Dhupa(scheduled time Puja and Bhog) are fulfilling the quest for the Trinity of the devotees. {"id":158774,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} A crowd of devotees was sighted at the Singhadwara of the Jagannath temple on Sunday, while the servitors were taking the Jhumpas and the Nakachanas in order to decorate lord Jagannath in the Shreemandir. Elderly denizens were seen touching and saluting the flowery ornaments, feeling the physical presence of the Trinity, in the divine jewels. Worth mentioning, Puri Jagannath temple remained closed from Saturday, while the restrictions for the visitors will continue till February 1,for the upsurge of Covid cases across the state.
