Puri, Feb 10: Puri district administration on Saturday launched a dedicated mobile app named ‘Swargadwar’ to expedite cremation services at the Puri Swargadwar.
District Collector Bijay Kumar Dash launched the ‘Swargadwar App’ on the premises of Swargadwar here in the afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion Dash said the newly commissioned Swargadwar App will help registration for cremation easier.
Further, through this mobile App one can know and avail of all services available at Swargadwar, he added.
The App provides information on the services available at Swargadwar in three languages —Odia, Hindi and English.
SBI Puri Main Branch donated a tractor fitted with a hydraulic trolley to the Swargadwar Seva Samiti on the occasion for bodies and firewood transportation.
