Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: The Odisha government will distribute appointment letters to 1,543 individuals across various departments on Tuesday. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will hand over the letters at the Railway Auditorium in Chandrasekharpur.

The appointments span multiple departments, including School and Mass Education, Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment, Revenue and Disaster Management, Finance, Labour and Employee State Insurance, Cooperation, Tourism, Home, Food Supply and Consumer Welfare, Skill Development and Technical Education, and Planning and Coordination.

The School and Mass Education Department will see the largest number of appointments, with 755 individuals receiving letters, followed by 382 appointments in Odisha Civil Service and 14 in other departments. The Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment Department will have 392 appointees.

The initiative reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce across key sectors.
