Apple is continuing its significant retail expansion in India, officially announcing the opening of its fourth store in the country and its first in Pune. Creative Design and Customer Experience
In keeping with its tradition of creating unique, locally-inspired store designs, the barricade for the Koregaon Park location was unveiled today, featuring beautiful artwork inspired by the Peacock—India’s national bird—symbolising pride and vibrancy. This creative theme mirrors the one revealed last week for Apple’s upcoming Bengaluru store, Apple Hebbal, suggesting a thoughtful approach to connecting with local culture. The Pune location, along with the Bengaluru one, will be the third and fourth retail outlets for Apple in India, joining the successful stores in Mumbai and Delhi.
Inside, customers can expect the full, immersive Apple experience. The store will showcase the company's entire product lineup, allowing visitors to explore and test new features. A dedicated team of trained Specialists, Creatives, and technical support Geniuses will be on hand to offer personalized support and guidance. Customers can also participate in free, hands-on "Today at Apple" workshops covering a range of creative skills, including photography, music, art, and coding, turning the store into a community hub for learning.
Blending Physical and Digital Retail
The launch is part of Apple's broader, integrated strategy to strengthen its presence in India. The company is enhancing its digital services to create a seamless customer journey. Features such as "Shop with a Specialist over Video" and the revamped Apple Store app are designed to offer a more personalised and secure shopping experience, whether a customer is at home or in the store. To celebrate the Pune opening, Apple has released exclusive, locally-themed digital content, including unique wallpapers and a curated Apple Music playlist inspired by the sounds of the city, further strengthening its connection with the local community.
