Bhubaneswar, January 1: Odisha government on Thursday effected a major rehig among the IAS Officers.

The General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, Government of Odisha issued a notification in this connection today.

According to the notification, senior IAS Officer Satyabrata Sahu, who is at present serves as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department, with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, has been appointed as Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.

Deoranjan Kumar Singh, working as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, with additional charge of Member, Board of Revenue, Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha, Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority, and Chairman, Odisha Forest Development Corporation, has been appointed as Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary to Government, Planning & Convergence Department.

Singh will continue to hold additional charge of Revenue & Disaster Management Department.

Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Industries Department, with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, I&PR Department and Chairman, IPICOL, will continue to hold additional charge of Home Department.

Shubha Sarma, Principal Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department, will continue as Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department.

Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, at present serving as Principal Secretary to Government, Excise Department, with additional charge of CMD, OPTCL and Chairman, OSBCL, will continue as Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department.

Similarly, Rajesh Prabhakar Patil,Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department, with additional charge of Chairman, Odisha State Warehousing Corporation and Special Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, will continue as Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha, and Managing Director, OSDMA.

Apart from it, the government has reshuffled some district Colletors & DMs today vide the same notification.

Madhumita Rath, Additional Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department, and Collector & District Magistrate, Nayagarh, has been appointed as District Magistrate, Nayagarh.

Akshay Sunil Agrawal, Collector & District Magistrate, Nayagarh, has been appointed as Collector & District Magistrate, Gajapati.
