Mumbai, Aug 2: Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, currently garnering acclaim in Hollywood for her impactful performances, expressed gratitude to everyone who unknowingly played a role in her journey through the film industry.
Taking to Instagram, Priyanka shared a video montage featuring her dance performances at various Indian award events, reflecting on her early days in Mumbai's film industry and her unexpected passion for stage performances and dancing.
"Throwback to the early 2000s, around 2001, 2002, when I began my journey in Mumbai movies. I didn't realize how much I would fall in love with performing on stage, especially dancing," Priyanka wrote in her caption.
Recalling her school days, where she actively participated in extracurricular activities on stage, Priyanka shared, "Performing on songs from my movies, sung by incredible Indian singers, and entertaining a live audience—it's exhilarating."
Priyanka, married to American pop star Nick Jonas, humorously remarked, "It's the closest I've felt to doing what my husband does every day, LOL.. #rockstarlife." She expressed nostalgia watching her past performances and acknowledged the hard work of choreographers and dancers who boosted her confidence both on stage and on set.
Debuting with 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy' in 2003, Priyanka now celebrates 21 years in the acting industry. She thanked everyone who contributed to her journey, concluding with a message to cherish one's younger self and appreciate the path that led to personal growth.
