Paradip, July 16: In a shocking incident, four staff of a private bus were reportedly drugged and robbed at Paradip bus stand on Tuesday.
According to the reports, some individuals approached the staff of Tridevi buses including two drivers, one helper and one conductor under the guise of booking tickets. After gaining their trust, the perpetrators allegedly served them tea spiked with drugs. After taking the tea, bus staff became unconscious and the robbers steal money, mobile phones and other belongings from them.
The affected persons were initially taken to Atharbanki Hospital in Paradip for treatment. However, they later transferred to a hospital in Cuttack as their condition worsened.
Being informed Paradip police reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
