At noon, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address an election rally in Baripada Chhau District, followed by another rally later in the day in Kendrapara. These events are integral parts of his ongoing campaign to connect with voters across the state.

Prime Minister Modi commenced his campaign journey from Berhampur on May 6, subsequently holding a roadshow in Bhubaneswar on May 10. On May 11, he addressed three public meetings in Kandhamal, Bolangir, and Bargarh. Continuing his engagements, he visited the state again on May 19. A second roadshow in Puri on May 20 was followed by two election rallies in Angul and Cuttack.

The campaign momentum intensified further with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the state on May 25. Addressing election rallies in Baripada, Chandabali, Korei, and Nimapara, Shah bolstered the BJP's outreach efforts in Odisha.

State BJP president Manmohan Samal is contesting from the Chandabali Assembly seat, underscoring the party's commitment to field strong candidates across the state. Noteworthy personalities like BJP’s national president JP Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also visited the state on May 23 to campaign for party candidates.

 

With the fourth phase of elections in the state scheduled for June 1, Prime Minister Modi's visit underscores the significance of Odisha in the BJP's electoral strategy. As the campaign intensifies, political stakeholders are vying to make their mark in a state poised for a crucial electoral showdown.
