Patna, May 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to conduct a significant roadshow in Patna on May 12 in support of BJP candidates contesting from the Patliputra and Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seats.

Bihar BJP President and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary disclosed details of the event, highlighting the presence of sitting BJP MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad and Ram Kripal Yadav, who are also candidates from Patna Sahib and Patliputra respectively.

Choudhary emphasized that this roadshow marks a historic first for a Prime Minister and is scheduled for the evening of May 12 at the Dak Bungalow Chowk area. He anticipates attendance not only from locals but also from across the state.

Preparations are already underway, with BJP workers being mobilized from various parts of Bihar. Ravi Shankar Prasad expressed that the roadshow will underscore the Prime Minister's efforts towards constitutional preservation and national development, as well as advancements in the reservation system.

Ram Kripal Yadav echoed the sentiment, anticipating participation from a significant number of people from Patliputra.

The BJP aims to secure victory in all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, a goal countered by claims from the Opposition. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the BJP's focus, asserting that his response would be a "job show" in contrast to Modi's roadshow. He emphasized issues related to education and healthcare, accusing the BJP of neglecting them in favor of trivial matters.
