New Delhi, Ap 30: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Ayodhya on Wednesday to offer prayers at the Ram temple, according to temple authorities.
During her visit, regular devotee movement won't be affected, except for the time when the President herself is praying.
Officials from the Ram temple trust confirmed that the usual queue system will be in place on Wednesday, and devotees can have their 'darshan' at the scheduled times.
President Murmu is expected to land in the city around 4 pm via a special plane. Her convoy and security personnel will then be escorted to the temple complex through the VIP gate.
The president will be in the city for nearly three hours. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also anticipated to be there to greet her.
Traffic diversions will be implemented on the Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur national highway and the route connecting the Ayodhya airport to Ram Path.
Preparations are underway at the banks of the Saryu River for the President's arrival during the evening 'aarti' ceremony.
Government officials and security personnel will be briefed on Tuesday. Traffic management and security arrangements will ensure smooth movement for the President's convoy.
