Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: President Droupadi Murmu flagged off three new trains in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district this morning.

Murmu flagged off Badampahar-Tata Nagar MEMU, Badampahar-Rourkela Weekly Express and Badampahar-Shalimar Weekly Express at the Badampahar Railway Station in the district. The President is scheduled to travel from Badampahar to Rairangpur in the Badampahar-Shalimar Express. She also laid the foundation stone for re-development of Badampahar Railway Station and inaugurated the upgraded Rairangpur Sub Divisional Post Office.
As per the schedule, the Head of State will grace the 15th annual convocation of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla today evening. Notably, President Murmu commenced her three-day official visit to Odisha on Monday (November 21). On November 22, the President is scheduled to participate in a program at Prajapita Brahma Kumari’s Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.
Her departure from Jharsuguda Airport to Delhi is scheduled for the morning of November 22.
On November 20, 2023 the President of India, Droupadi Murmu graced the inaugural session of the 36th Annual Conference and Literary Festival of All India Santali Writers’ Association at Baripada, Odisha.
