President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha tomorrow for four days

Bhubaneswar, Feb 27: President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a four-day visit to Odisha starting from February 28. During her visit, she will participate in various programs across six districts, including Keonjhar, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Sambalpur, and Mayurbhanj. 

President Murmu will arrive in Rairangpur, her hometown, on February 28. She will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects in Rairangpur, including a holiday home by the CPWD and highway projects.

On February 29, she will visit the Maa Kichakeswari temple in Khiching and offer prayers in the morning. Later, she will proceed to Keonjhar to inaugurate a national-level seminar on tribals at Dharanidhar University.

In the evening, President Murmu will attend the 53rd Convocation of Utkal University in Bhubaneswar. She will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan.

On March 1, she will participate in the 25th Convocation of Berhampur University in Ganjam district.

The following day, President Murmu will engage in various programs organized in Sambalpur.

She will then depart for Delhi via Jharsuguda airport.

Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place, with around 50 platoon forces deployed in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Additionally, traffic police personnel will ensure smooth movement during her visit.
