Bhubaneswar, November 4: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Odisha on December 4 to participate in the Indian Navy Day event in Puri, as confirmed by a Navy spokesperson.
Navy Day, observed annually on December 4, will see the Indian Navy demonstrate its maritime prowess and operational capabilities at the Blue Flag Beach in Puri.
This display, called the Operational Demonstration (Op Demo), highlights the Navy’s wide-ranging competencies, fosters maritime awareness, and celebrates India's rich maritime legacy.
President Murmu’s attendance as the chief guest reinforces the bond between the Indian Navy and Odisha’s historic role in India’s naval traditions.
Her last scheduled visit on October 24 was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, as per the President's Office.
