Bhubaneswar, November 21: Preparations are underway for Hon’ble President of India,  Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to Mayurbhanj on December 6 and 7, 2024.

The President, traveling by helicopter, is set to attend several programs in Upparbeda under Rairangpur Rural, Rairangpur Town, and Bangriposi.

Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG of Police, Eastern Range, along with the Superintendent of Police, has inspected the proposed venues and convened meetings with key stakeholders. Participants included the Bangriposi MLA, the Sub-collector of Rairangpur, and officials from PWD, BDO, and Tehsildar offices.

These discussions focused on ensuring robust security arrangements for the President's visit.

President Murmu’s visit to her home district is expected to draw significant attention, with local authorities leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless and secure event.
