Bhubaneswar, August 22:Prem Patnaik,elder brother of Odisha former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday visited Bhubaneswar to assess the health & wellbeing of Naveen, who was shortly discharged from a private hospital after care.

Prem accompanied by his spouse, after arriving at the Naveen Niwas, enquired of Naveen’s health parameters and the precise course of medications; he was advised by the doctors during discharge.

Naveen, a couple of days ago was admitted to the SUM Ultimate Medicare for his dehydration related uneasiness who received medical care and was discharged for home on August 20 after he did well.

On being informed of Naveen’s broken health, Elder brother Prem who is reportedly an ace industrialist, rushed to Bhubaneswar to meet Naveen here.

As per sources, the two royal siblings were found joyously interacting for hours and dining altogether, during the incidental & short-stay of Prem Patnaik at abode the Naveen Niwas. 

Worth mentioning, this is Prem Patnaik’s maiden visit to Odisha especially to his parental home the ‘Naveen Niwas’, after he attended Naveen in the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, during his cervical arthritis  surgery in June 2025.
